The National Black MBA Association Austin Chapter is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. To forward our mission in the community, we rely on volunteers, partners, and sponsors. With your help, we can make a difference in our community. Are you willing to serve?

Chapter Elections are coming up this September. Who do you nominate? Or will you step forward to serve?

Each candidate shall have to meet the following qualifications in order to be placed on the ballot for a Chapter Executive Board position:

  1. Candidates must be a Member in Good Standing.
  2. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
    1. Have served in a verifiable Executive Board, Director, or other Chapter leadership capacity for at least one year. Verification shall be submitted in the form of a letter from the President of the Chapter where the leadership experience was obtained. Individuals with direct experience and training in areas for which they are nominated are preferred. Service time requirement can be waived on a candidate by candidate basis, at CEB discretion.
    2. Have attended at least two meetings, programs, or events within the previous six months.
  3. Candidates for President must have served on the Austin Chapter Executive Board for at least one year prior to nomination.
