Q: Am I required to have an MBA to join?

A: While the vast majority of members have MBAs, those with other professional graduate degrees (MHA, MPA, MS, MA, JD, etc.) are welcome to join.  We also welcome as entrepreneurs and business professionals who align with our mission and goals.

Q: I am a member of another chapter and have moved to Austin. How do I transfer my membership to the Austin Chapter?

A: Please contact the National Office at membership@nbmbaa.org or (312) 236-BMBA (2622), informing them that you want to transfer your membership from your present chapter to the Austin chapter.

Q: How can I update my contact information?

A: You can update your contact information by logging into NBMBAA website.

Q: When does the National Black MBA Association, Austin Chapter meet?

A: This chapter has several meetings and events scheduled throughout the calendar year.  Please visit theChapter Calendar or folllow us through Facebook, Linked-in, and Twitter.

Q: Do I have to be a member to attend a meeting?

A: You do not have to be a member to participate in most events.  Although an increasing number of value-added Chapter events are for those with active memberships.

Q: I would love to become involved in a leadership capacity with the chapter. How do I join get involved?
