Five Channels. One Connected Network.

NBMBAA Austin aligns its work with the National Black MBA Association’s five core programming channels:

Education • Career • Entrepreneurship • Lifestyle • Leadership

These channels serve as the strategic framework for how programming is designed, evaluated, and delivered—locally through the Austin Chapter and nationally through the Association.

All initiatives are informed by one or more of these focus areas, ensuring consistency, relevance, and alignment across the NBMBAA network.

Local Engagement. National Opportunity.

Membership in NBMBAA Austin provides access to both chapter-led engagement and national-level opportunities offered by the National Black MBA Association.

  • Local programming is developed by the Austin Chapter based on community needs, partnerships, and available resources.
  • National programming is coordinated by the National Black MBA Association and may include conferences, competitive programs, fellowships, and leadership initiatives.

Together, these experiences create a connected professional ecosystem that extends beyond the local chapter.

An Integrated, Flexible Approach

NBMBAA Austin does not operate programs in isolation or guarantee specific offerings within a given calendar year. Programming opportunities may address one or multiple channels and may be delivered locally, regionally, or nationally.

This flexible model allows the chapter to remain responsive, sustainable, and aligned with broader Association priorities.
