Free financial literacy series for high school students in Austin. Learn budgeting, saving, and smart money skills for the future.

💡 Learn money skills that school doesn’t always teach!

The Financial Literacy Series is a multi-session program designed specifically for high school students who want to build smart money habits early. Hosted by the Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program – Austin Chapter in partnership with JPE Health and Wealth Advocates, this engaging series will help students understand how money works in the real world.

Led by Jacqueline Primrose, students will gain practical knowledge on topics such as budgeting, saving, banking, and building a strong financial foundation for college and beyond.

What students will gain:

  • Understanding how to manage money responsibly
  • Budgeting and saving basics
  • Introduction to financial independence
  • Confidence making smart financial decisions
  • A supportive, youth-friendly learning environment

👥 Who should attend:

  • High school students (Grades 9–12)
  • No prior financial knowledge required

📚 Format:

  • Virtual and in-person, interactive sessions
  • Students are encouraged to attend all dates, but registration is open to all
