About the National Black MBA Association

Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association is dedicated to develop partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the black community. In partnership with over 400 of the country’s top business organizations, the association has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA’s partners have one thing in common: they are all committed to the organization’s goals and values.

 

Mission

The mission of the National Black MBA Association® is to lead in the creation of educational, wealth building, and growth opportunities for those historically underrepresented throughout their careers as students, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Empowering visionaries intellectually and economically to create a world where diversity and inclusion are universal.

Provide innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth

Build partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth

Increase awareness and facilitate access to graduate management education programs and career opportunities in management fields

 

Austin Chapter History

The Austin Chapter of the National Black MBA Association was chartered in 2006,in Austin Texas, by a cohort of MBA’s, Doctoral Candidates, and Entrepreneurs

affectionally known as, “The Magnificent 8”
