2012 Rising Stars Calendar |

Rising Stars Collegiate Mentoring Program 2012 programming focuses on the student's business social settings and professional demeanor. This focused programming aims to:
- create persistent mentoring relationships
- develop key business social skills
- establish contacts and professional relationships that lead to internships, development opportunities, or employment
- enhance student life through collaboration and social engagement
- contextualize students' views of themselves, their work, and their surrounding community
These are achieved through establishing core 'tickets to entry' in the workplace or professional environment, following up with career coaching, and culminating in events focused on managing a variety of relationships in different settings.
As an ongoing, core part of the program, students are paired with mentors in a year-long series (1-2 hrs monthly) who meet, coach, advise, and model professional behavior and development.
