Community Partnerships

Our mission is to build and sustain forward thinking partnerships with those that have a common interest in learning how to better serve those within the African – American Community here in Austin and surrounding areas, specifically in the areas of Education, Career Opportunities, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and with making Better Lifestyle Choices as a result of proper Diet, Health & Fitness. All five of these key areas are components of the core mission of the National Black MBA Association.

Official Speakers Bureau & Ambassador Program

Community Relations Committee Members will consist of the following:

  • Ambassadors
  • Guest Speakers
  • Other General Purpose Committee Members

Note: The first two Community Relations Committee Member roles will represent the chapter as a whole as it relates to community engagement with the community at large. This is different from the Student Relations Committee Guest Speakers which will focus primarily on youth related events.

Important Note: The National Black MBA Association - Austin Chapter itself is a "Not For Profit" organization and therefore does not offer any salary or any other monetary compensation for those who participate as a Guest Speaker or Ambassador through this program. Participants are free however to negotiate on their own behalf to gain monetary compensation from the parties booking their services as a result of the exposure gained as a participant in this program.
