Q: Am I required to have an MBA to join?

A: While the vast majority of members have MBAs, those with other professional graduate degrees (MHA, MPA, MS, MA, JD, etc.) are welcome to join as well, as well as entrepreneurs and business professionals who align with our mission and goals.

Q: I am a member of another chapter and have moved to Austin. How do I transfer my membership to the Austin Chapter?

Q: When does the National Black MBA Association, Austin Chapter meet?

A: This chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. unless a holiday or important local event falls on that day. A:The general membership meetings for the Austin Chapter are currently held at the
University of Phoenix

Q: Do I have to be a member to attend a meeting?

A: You do not have to be a member to participate in most events, although your membership is encouraged because it helps to make them possible. However, we charge a fee of $15 for non-members to attend chapter meetings.

Q: I would love to become involved in a leadership capacity with the chapter. How do I join a committee?
